Maierdorf is a former municipality with 513 inhabitants (as of October 31, 2013) in the district of Südoststeiermark in southeastern Styria (Austria).
As part of the municipal reform in Styria, it has been merged with the municipalities of Aug-Radisch, Baumgarten bei Gnas, Grabersdorf, Gnas, Poppendorf,
Raning, Trössing and Unterauersbach,[2] the new municipality continues to operate under the name Marktgemeinde Gnas.
Maierdorf is located around 38 km south-east of Graz and around 8 km south of the district capital Feldbach in the East Styrian hill country.
