Culture and sights
Catholic parish church Jagerberg hl. Andreas: The church was first mentioned in a document in 1269 and has been a parish church since 1788. The Gothic building with the strong, square tower dates in its core from the 14th century, but has numerous late Baroque alterations and additions. Remains of the former defensive wall can be seen in the southeast. The interior decoration dates from the late Baroque period; the high altar by Franz Domiscus and Josef Pflänzl in 1772 is particularly noteworthy; the Notburga altar in the side aisle is also by the same artists.
South of the church there is a small Notburga chapel from the middle of the 18th century. This also forms the occasion for the "Notburga-Kirtag", one of the largest church and fair festivals in Austria, which takes place annually in September.
