Schwarzautal is a municipality in the district of Leibnitz in Styria since the beginning of 2015. The municipality of Schwarzautal was created as part of the municipal structural reform in Styria from the municipalities of Schwarzau im Schwarzautal, Wolfsberg im Schwarzautal, Breitenfeld am Tannenriegel, Hainsdorf im Schwarzautal and Mitterlabill, which were dissolved at the end of 2014. Mitterlabill is located about 25 kilometers southeast of Graz and about 20 kilometers west of the district capital Feldbach in the East Styrian hill country.
