Lebring-Sankt Margarethen is a Styrian market town in the district of Leibnitz. Lebring is located on the right bank of the Mur River about four kilometers south of Wildon and eight kilometers north of the city of Leibnitz.

The forest area on the Buchkogel in the border area of the Murfeld and Leibnitzerfeld in the municipalities of Wildon, Lebring-St. Margarethen, Lang and Hengsberg was declared the "Wildoner Buchkogel Nature Reserve". This is to protect the near-natural beech forest stands and the species-rich plant occurrences of this area. These plants include red beech, wolfsbane, broad-leaved, narrow-leaved and purple woodvine, lily of the valley, alpine cyclamen, Illyrian crocus, daphne, Ständelwurz, Dog's-tooth lily, Hedge hellebore, Spring knotflower, Turk's-bunch lily, Great two-leaf, Bird's nestwort, White forest hyacinth, Earth primrose, Wood violet, Grove violet.
