Bad Gleichenberg is a municipality in the judicial district of Feldbach and the political district of southeastern Styria and a health resort in the southeastern hill country of Styria. Bad Gleichenberg is located about 42 km southeast of the provincial capital Graz and 9 km south of Feldbach on the eastern edge of the Styrian hill country.

    The spa park of Bad Gleichenberg[5] (?Lage) has a size of 20 ha and is the most beautiful landscape garden in Austria (awarded in 2016) (listed as a park). It was created from 1837 by Emma Countess of Wickenburg (née Countess Grimaud d'Orsay) according to the plans of Field Marshal Baron von Welden. In the park you can find today's Kurhaus, parts of the old Kurhotel, Villa Wickenburg, which is a listed building.
