The historic wine-growing and tourist community of Klöch is located in the wine-growing region "Vulkanland Steiermark" and stands for outstanding, fertile soil quality.
The market town owes its nickname to the noble grapes that thrive here - due to the Mediterranean climate and the volcanic soil - and are processed into exquisite wines. Hiking and biking trails invite you to explore the beauty of the place.

Klöch (Slovenian Klek), the "pearl of the southeast Styrian wine country", is a market town in the Feldbach judicial district or district of southeast Styria, about nine kilometers north of Bad Radkersburg.

    The Klöcher Winzerzug takes place every five years (most recently September 2018) in Klöch the Winzerzug. Numerous elaborately decorated floats with old customs invite you to join the celebration. Usually, the grape harvest is also celebrated and then the Klöcher Pressfest is also held.

Culinary specialties
The wine village of Klöch achieved special fame through the cultivation of wine and thus became the eponym of the Klöcher Wine Route. In particular, the Klöcher Traminer, the "wine with the scent of the rose", has achieved Europe-wide fame.
