The municipality of Unterlamm is located in the district of Southeast Styria in the Styrian Volcanic Land, only 5 km away from the famous spa resort Loipersdorf. Unterlamm is located about 48 km east of Graz and about 13 km east of the district capital Feldbach in the East Styrian hill country. The Lehenbach river flows through the village.
