Culture and sights
Kulmgipfel: The local mountain of Puch with its 976 m is not a particularly high mountain, but due to its location it is an important mountain, since from its summit one can overlook the entire eastern foothills of the Alps. It already served as a location for signal fires in the Middle Ages. Today, in addition to a crossroads and an orientation stone, there is a transmitting station at the summit.
The Styrian Apple Road leads through the center of Styrian fruit growing. It leaves impressions due to the enormous fruit areas and the wide culinary offer based on the apple.
Parish Church of St. Oswald: The highlight of the tour of this church, which was consecrated in 1444, is the baroque high altar. Also worth seeing are the Roman stone in the church wall and the Gothic side aisle.
The museum Haus des Apfels (House of the Apple) in the district of Harl deals with all the details of Puch's connection with apple growing.
Prehistoric open-air museum: This open-air museum on the Kulm shows the history of the Kulm as a Celtic settlement site.
Largest apple in the world: In Elz, the gateway to apple country - a house-high apple arch made of larch wood - can be seen as the center of a corresponding theme trail.
The farmers' museum offers an overview of rural life in the 19th and 20th centuries.
