Anger is a market town located in the district of Weiz in the Austrian province of Styria. In November 2012, the merger of the municipalities of Anger, Baierdorf bei Anger, Feistritz bei Anger and Naintsch was unanimously decided, which merged with 1 January 2015 as part of the municipal structural reform of Styria to the new market town of Anger.
Anger is located on the Feistritz River, about 40 km northeast of Graz, 13 km northeast of the district capital Weiz and 10 km south of Birkfeld. The market town extends into the Almenland Nature Park.
