St. Laurence Parish Church: The first documented mention of the Gleisdorf church was in 1229 as a daughter church of the parish of Sankt Ruprecht an der Raab. In 1648-1672 the present baroque church was built and dedicated to St. Lawrence of Rome. Historicist extensions are from 1891-1893. On the outer facade there is a Roman stone of the 2nd century.
On the main square, in front of the town parish church, there is a Marian column from 1665. The "Lady's Column" was on the occasion of Montecuccoli's victory over the Ottomans at St. Gotthard/Mogersdorf (1664).[24] The statue on the "Turk's Column" originally looked in the opposite direction.
Former Piarist Monastery (1774-1824):
St. Mary's Church, former Piarist Church: there was an older hospital church on the site. Built in 1744-1747 under Cardinal Sigismund von Kollonitz in honor of the Purification of the Virgin Mary (Candlemas), today a Catholic branch church.

The Gleisdorf town hall stands on Florianiplatz and was built from 1892 to 1894. Prominent features are a projecting gable and the corner tower. In addition to the offices, the premises house the local history museum, numerous Roman finds, a portrait gallery from Freiberg Castle and a mineral collection. Behind the town hall is the Forum Kloster and an event venue. Originally, the tract served as a Dominican convent.
The 32-meter-high observation tower on the Kleeberg in the Labuch district is a modern mix of observation tower and sculpture.
