Gerasdorf bei Wien is located in the Weinviertel region of Lower Austria, on Vienna's northern city limits. For most of the time that the district of Wien-Umgebung existed, it was its only municipality on the left side of the Danube.

Culture and sights

Seyring Castle: The castle is a two-story classical building with one-story side wings. Seyring Castle is situated in a park-like area. The public park houses a sports facility and an elementary school. The Comtessentrakt, which was added in the middle of the 19th century, has housed a public cultural center since 2000. The castle itself is privately owned. The cultural center offers a wide range of events such as concerts, readings or cabaret programs.
