Gaaden is a municipality in the district of Mödling in Lower Austria. In the beginning Gaaden was a purely agricultural and forestry village. For decades, limestone quarries and lime kilns have also been operated. A large dolomite quarry is located in the village area. In former times there was a sawmill, which used the water power of the Mödlingbach.
Today Gaaden is predominantly a residential community with some second home owners from Vienna.
