Satteins is a municipality in Austria in Vorarlberg in the district of Feldkirch. Satteins is located in the westernmost province of Austria, Vorarlberg, in Walgau. 

Culture and sights

Part of the still existing walls of Schwarzenhorn Castle were demolished and the material used for the construction of the parish church. Currently, the northern wall of the former keep is still preserved.
The present parish church of St. George was built in the style of late classicism. However, it is not true that the church was built by Alois Negrelli, the designer of the Suez Canal.
The chapel of St. Sebastian, also called the Plague Chapel, built in 1349, is a reminder of the plague times of the 14th century. This chapel is of great historical value because of its Gothic winged altar and wall paintings.
