St. Konrad (also known as Sankt Konrad) is a municipality in Upper Austria in the district of Gmunden in the Traunviertel with 1171 inhabitants.
The municipality of St. Konrad is located to the east of Gmunden between Lake Traunsee and the Almtal valley on the upper reaches of the Laudach at an altitude of around 580 meters above sea level. 
Originally located in the eastern part of the Duchy of Bavaria, the village has belonged to the Duchy of Austria since the 12th century. Since 1490 it has belonged to the 
Principality of Austria ob der Enns.
