Mürzhofen was until the end of 2014 an independent municipality
 in the Austrian province of Styria (judicial district of Mürzzuschlag and in the political district of Bruck-Mürzzuschlag). As part of the municipal structural reform in Styria, it was incorporated together with the former municipality of Allerheiligen im Mürztal at the municipality of Kindberg as of January 1, 2015.
