Kindberg is a town in the Austrian state of Styria (judicial district of Mürzzuschlag in the political district of Bruck-Mürzzuschlag). Kindberg is located in the Mürztal valley about 17 km northeast of the district capital Bruck an der Mur and about 20 km southwest of Mürzzuschlag. To the south are the Fischbacher Alps and to the north the Mürztaler Alps, a forested low mountain range at the southern foot of the northern alpine high mountains with the Aflenzer Staritzen and the Veitschalpe.
