Nature reserve
The Kettischgründe in Lannach are a nature reserve (NSG-c51). It is the site of a former brickyard, which was left to its own devices after operations ceased and became overgrown. It was declared a nature reserve (animal and plant protection area) for the purpose of preservation as a wetland biotope and as a location and habitat for plant species worthy of protection and endangered species, as well as an ecological refuge for many animal species. About 300 meters to the east of this area lies the "Ziegelteichgelände in Weinzettl" (NSG-c75), another small nature reserve, but already in the municipality of Dobl.
