Culture and sights
Parish church: dedicated to St. Nicholas. The church is the oldest preserved building in the village. It has architectural styles from 3 epochs (Romanesque, Late Gothic, Baroque). The oldest part with a wooden flat ceiling between the tower and the nave, originally Romanesque, was replaced by a Gothic vault around 1520. The presbytery was also added at this time. At the end of the 16th, beginning of the 17th century, a 45-meter high defense tower equipped with embrasures was built. Today the tower is also the church tower.
Gustinus Ambrosi Museum: the Austrian sculptor and poet Gustinus Ambrosi (1893-1975) designed his own retirement residence in Stallhofen; today the Gustinus Ambrosi Museum is located in the building
Krampus museum and antique museum: both museums are located in the Gasthof Rößl (Kirchenwirt)
