Welcome to the community of Terfens!

Terfens is located in the middle Unterinntal, at the foot of the Karwendel Mountains, on the sunny side of the Inn River. In our community live about 2.200 inhabitants spread over 8 districts.

Although we are not a tourist community, our community offers many sports and recreational opportunities such as our own swimming lake, beach volleyball, soccer, tennis, hiking trails, mountain bike routes ...
Especially worth seeing are also the contemplation path to the pilgrimage chapel Maria Larch, the planetary nature trail as well as the "Haus steht Kopf".

Agriculture still plays an important role in our community, there are full-time and part-time farms. In the last few years, some commercial enterprises have settled in our community again. This has also improved the supply of jobs in the community.
