Rinn is a municipality with 1940 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2022) in the district of Innsbruck-Land in the Austrian state of Tyrol (Austria). The municipality is located in the judicial district of Hall in Tirol. The village of Rinn is located at 918 m above sea level in the southeastern low mountain range east of Innsbruck and south of the Inn River.
Culture and sights
The pilgrimage church Judenstein was built in 1670. Legend has it that Anderl von Rinn (Andreas Oxner) was slain on the Judenstein by Jews who were passing through.
Events
An annual highlight in the cultural and event program of Rinn is the RollRinn event, which has been taking place since 2000. The association RollRinn wants to use the connecting and integrative power of the village community to help break down the barriers between disabled and non-disabled people.
