Rum is a market town (since 1987) in the district of Innsbruck-Land in the Austrian state of Tyrol at 622 m above sea level. It is located on the southern slope of the Nordkette mountain range on the village road to Hall in Tyrol and borders Innsbruck to the west. Rum is one of the MARTHA villages and lies in the judicial district of Hall in Tirol.
