Telfes im Stubai is a municipality in the judicial district of Innsbruck and district of Innsbruck-Land in Tyrol (Austria). The village of Telfes is located in the front Stubai Valley, sunny left of the Ruetz.

Regular events
Every year in summer the Schlickeralmlauf takes place in Telfes. This mountain run has its start in the village center and the finish is on the Kreuzjoch (until 2012 on the Sennjoch). In 1990 and 1996 Telfes was the venue of the Mountain Running World Championships. Then in 2009, it hosted the 8th European Mountain Running Championships, an official competition of the European Athletics Association (EAA). In 2014, the 14th WMRA World Masters Mountain Running Championships, i.e. the official mountain running world championships for seniors aged 35 and over, were held in Telfes. In 2020, the organizing sports club Telfes will be the first organizer to organize a Masters Mountain Running World Championships for the second time
