Obernberg am Brenner is a municipality in the district of Innsbruck-Land in Tyrol (Austria). The municipality is located in the judicial district of Innsbruck. Obernberg lies in the valley of the same name, which branches off from the Wipptal near Gries am Brenner. The head of the valley is formed by the massive Schwarze Wand and the limestone peaks of the Obernberger Tribulaun in contrast to the primary rock terrain below.
