Vals [fals] is a municipality in the district of Innsbruck-Land in Tyrol (Austria). The municipality is located in the judicial district of Innsbruck. Vals encompasses the entire six-kilometer-long Vals Valley, which joins the Schmirn Valley at St. Jodok and flows into the Wipp Valley at Stafflach. Padaun also belongs to Vals.

There is a small practice lift operated by the municipality and two natural toboggan runs (Schwarzer Brunnen, Padaun) as well as a cross-country ski trail in the rear basin. The area around the Vennspitze with Silleskogel is a popular ski touring area and the Padauner Kogel is a worthwhile destination with snowshoes. In St. Jodok there is a skating rink suitable for competitions, which is illuminated in the evenings during the vacations.
