Sankt Oswald ob Eibiswald is a village in western Styria. It was until the end of 2014 a municipality with 562 inhabitants (as of 2014) in the district of Deutschlandsberg in Styria. As part of the Styrian municipal structure reform, St. Oswald ob Eibiswald was merged with the municipalities of Aibl, Eibiswald, Großradl, Pitschgau and Soboth in 2015 to form the municipality of Eibiswald. Eibiswald (Slovenian Ivnik) is a market town in the district of Deutschlandsberg in Styria. As part of the Styrian municipal structural reform, it has been merged with the municipalities of Aibl, Großradl, Pitschgau, St. Oswald ob Eibiswald and Soboth since 2015.

Eibiswald

    Parish Church Eibiswald: The parish church Maria im Dorn in Eibiswald was first mentioned in documents in 1170. The church consists of a Gothic building with a Romanesque core and was extended in 1678 in Baroque style. In the 18th century the church was also considered a pilgrimage church. Once the parish had five daughter churches, but today only the pilgrimage church at the Radlpass, dedicated to St. Anthony the Hermit, remains. In addition, there are five mass chapels in the parish.
    Hasewend's Lichtspielhaus: Eibiswald is one of the few small towns in Styria to have its own 142-seat movie theater; the master butcher runs it next to his business.
    The largest town house in the market, the Lerchhaus is the oldest market house that has been preserved in its original form. It was built from two houses in the 16th century in the Renaissance style.
    The formerly listed Roman bridge (in name only, not a building from Roman times) was largely demolished in 2016 and replaced by a concrete structure.
