Catholic parish church Bruckmühl Sacred Heart of Jesus
Catholic Parish Church Ottnang am Hausruck St. Stephen: The church, surrounded by a cemetery, was originally built in the 13th century in Gothic style. At the beginning of the 18th century it was rebuilt and extended under Carlo Antonio Carlone to its present three-nave form.
The Südfeldstollen in Thomasroith was set up as a show gallery by the Thomasroith Miners' Association and is a reminder of the roughly 250 years of brown coal mining in the Hausruck region - including in Thomasroith, where the mining headquarters once stood.
The house of Thomas Bernhard in Ottnang; this property with the house names "Hanspaul", also "Quirchtenhaus", was acquired by Thomas Bernhard in 1972 from the Huemer family and redesigned. The museum part can be visited in the period from Easter to the end of October by appointment at the Thomas Bernhard estate administration (07612/64475 or via thomasbernhard63@hotmail.com) for a contribution towards expenses of € 5.- per person.
