Parish and pilgrimage museum: the museum shows precious exhibits, a documentation about Joseph Mohr, as well as a Christmas crib with figures from the 18th century. It is located in the historical premises of the old vicarage.
Silent Night Museum in Mariapfarr: Joseph Mohr worked as coadjutor in Mariapfarr from 1815 to 1817 and during this time, in 1816, wrote the lyrics of the world-famous Christmas carol Silent Night, Holy Night. This only became known in 1995 through the discovery of a handwritten transcription by Joseph Mohr. This autograph - dated to the time around 1823 - represents the oldest document for the history of the origin of the song. The Silent Night Museum is part of the Parish and Pilgrimage Museum. In May 2011, the song "Silent Night, Holy Night" was recognized as a national intangible UNESCO cultural heritage of Austria. The home of Joseph Mohr's father and his ancestors, the "Schargler Keusche", still stands today as a cultural monument in the Stranach district.
Silent Night Fountain: In 2011, the Silent Night Fountain was erected as part of the parsonage renovation in memory of Joseph Mohr. The fountain - crowned by a bust of Joseph Mohr - was designed by parish priest Bernhard Rohrmoser.
Suppan Chapel: Another cultural monument is the Suppan Chapel in the district of Pichl.
