Werfenweng is an Austrian municipality in the Pongau region of Salzburg Land. The municipality is located in the Salzachpongau of Salzburg Land at the southern foot of the Tennengebirge, in a right side valley of the Salzachtal on the upper Wenger Bach. However, it also extends into the Fritztal valley to the south.
