Aigen-Schlägl is a market town in the northwestern Mühlviertel region of Upper Austria with an area of 45.99 square kilometers. The municipality was formed on May 1, 2015 by the merger of the formerly independent municipalities of Aigen im Mühlkreis and Schlägl.

    Parish Church Aigen im Mühlkreis: The parish church of St. John the Apostle and Evangelist, incorporated into the Schlägl Abbey, was built from 1897 to 1901 according to plans by the Linz architect Raimund Jeblinger.
