Rettenegg is a municipality in the district of Weiz in eastern Styria on the border with Lower Austria. Rettenegg is located in the Fischbacher Alps at the confluence of the Pfaffenbach into the Feistritz.

Natural monuments

    Planetary path "Heaven on Earth": Along a hike to the Stuhleck the solar system is presented. The Planetary Path was created as a scientific-touristic project by the Institute for Astronomy of the University of Vienna. Along the path, the nine planets are depicted in such a way that their size and distances to each other correspond to the scale of 1:1 billion.

Museum

The exhibition "The old forest railroad" in the Rosinger Inn is a permanent exhibition. Original plans (1:1000) and photos of the former railroad from Rettenegg to Steinhaus am Semmering are shown.
