Oed-Oehling is a small but fine market community with about 2,000 inhabitants. The settlement possibility in the middle of the green with nevertheless good traffic connection to the west freeway, west railroad and the proximity to the district capital Amstetten as a school and shopping town make Oed-Oehling a popular residential community. Great importance is attached to the high quality of life and living. The lively building activity and the numerous new settlements confirm this.

Numerous associations, such as the volunteer fire departments, the music association, the parents' association and various sports clubs, help determine public life through their activities. They give the youth a wide field of activities. The market community provides sports fields and playgrounds for this purpose and supports the efforts of the many volunteer officials and helpers.

Small and medium-sized enterprises form the economic mainstay of the community. The creation of new jobs as a livelihood for the local population is one of the main tasks. The first step in this direction was taken with the development of the new industrial park on the Westautobahn. The unbureaucratic and fast handling of business settlements makes it easier for companies to set up operations.

Personally, I place the highest value on an open climate of discussion and a broad basis of cooperation between the population and community representatives. Only in this interaction of all can future challenges be mastered. The work for the citizens of the municipality is characterized by one goal:
