Culture and sights
Parish church: baroqueized from 1630 to 1645; the steeple and the choir still point to the original late Gothic church building; the furnishings are partly from the 17th and 18th centuries. The church is dedicated to St. Aegydius and St. Thomas the Apostle.
Weichberger ancestral home
Pfoisau-Kogel: Not far from Oberndorf, in the Rotte Pfoisau, there is the so-called Pfoisau-Kogel, an earthwork. In the Middle Ages there was a castle there (mentioned in 1258), in 1423 a chapel was built there, later it became a church with a cemetery, which existed until the Josephinism. Around 1900, a chalice was found in the field while farming, and today it is exhibited in St. Pölten.
