Lobmingtal is a municipality in the district of Murtal and judicial district of Judenburg in Styria. The main village of Großlobming is located at an altitude of 641 meters above sea level about three kilometers south of the center of Knittelfeld. The municipal area includes the catchment area of the Lobmingbach stream and is bordered by the Mur river in the north.
