St. Peter am Kammersberg is a market town in the district of Murau in Upper Styria with 1993 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2023).
The municipality is located north of the Mur Valley in the Katschtal and covers an area of 84 square kilometers. The municipality is named after 
the apostle Peter, to whom the church is dedicated. In the documents of the 13th century, the place is called sanctus Petrus. The first 
mentioned in a document in 1245.
