Nötsch im Gailtal is a market town in the district of Villach-Land. The municipality is located in the Gailtal valley in the south of Carinthia at the foot of the Villacher Alpe.

The parish church Heiliger Kanzian in Saak is a church building built in late Gothic style in the second half of the 15th century.
Cemetery in Saak: On the southern facade of the church there is the tomb of the Michor family with a fresco of a Madonna and Child surrounded by angels making music, the most important preserved monumental work by Anton Kolig, painted from 1927 to 1929 on the order of Peter Michor.
The former vicarage in Saak 49 was built in 1757 by the lordship of Wasserleonburg. It is now privately owned and used as a painting gallery.
The castle Wasserleonburg in Saak was first mentioned in documents in 1253 and was originally called Löwenburg. Significant is the late Mannerist courtyard facade, which was built around 1650, also noteworthy is the Renaissance courtyard and the castle chapel.
