Modriach is a village and locality in western Styria and a cadastral municipality of the market town of Edelschrott in the district of Voitsberg, Styria. The village was an independent municipality from 1850 to 2014.

Edelschrott is a market town in the district of Voitsberg, Styria. On 1 January 2015, the municipality of Modriach was incorporated as part of the Styrian municipal structural reform. The market town Edelschrott is located in the southwestern part of the district Voitsberg, about 20 kilometers west of the provincial capital Graz.
