Mehrnbach is a municipality in Upper Austria in the district of Ried im Innkreis in the Innviertel with 2379 inhabitants. The municipality is located in the judicial district of Ried im 
Innkreis. Mehrnbach lies at an altitude of 443 m in the Innviertel. The settlement of Mehrbach was founded in 526 and the manor of Merenbach was first mentioned in a document in 1140. 
The village of Meranpach was first mentioned in a document in 1160. 

Culture and sights

Riegerting Castle: The castle is located in the district of the same name in Mehrnbach and dates back to the 17th century. The castle chapel dates back to 
1685 and is dedicated to St. Isidore.
