Markt Neuhodis (Hungarian Városhodász; Croatian Novi Hoda, Nimški Hodas; Romani Hodasi) is a market town with 662 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2022) in the 
district of Oberwart in Burgenland. There are a large number of members of the Burgenland-Croatian minority in the municipality, who mainly live in the district of 
Althodis (Stari Hodas) is home to them. The municipality is located in southern Burgenland. The flat south is part of the Pannonian Plain. Like the whole of 
Burgenland belonged to Hungary (German West Hungary) until 1920/21.
