Maria Saal (Slovenian Gospa Sveta) is a market town and a place of pilgrimage in the district of Klagenfurt-Land in Carinthia. The place is known especially for its St. Mary's Church. The village of Maria Saal is visible from afar on a hill in the east of the Zollfeld, an approximately ten-kilometer-long valley plain of the Glan between Magdalensberg and Ulrichsberg, which adjoins Klagenfurt to the north.
