Köttmannsdorf (Slovenian: Kotmara vas, Hotimirjeva vas) is a bilingual municipality located southwest of Klagenfurt in the district of Klagenfurt-Land in Carinthia. The municipal area of Köttmannsdorf is located southwest of the provincial capital Klagenfurt on the mountain range of the Sattnitz (made of conglomerate rock) and is bordered by the Ferlacher Stausee in the south, the Keutschacher Seental in the north, the Dobeiner Wand in the northwest and the Hollenburger Sattel or the Maria Rainer Senke in the east.
