Sankt Margareten im Rosental, officially St. Margareten im Rosental (Slovenian: Šmarjeta v Ro?u), is a bilingual municipality with 1089 inhabitants 
(as of January 1, 2023) in the district of Klagenfurt-Land in Austria, in the province of Carinthia. The municipality is located in the south-eastern Rosental valley at the 
foot of the Hochobir. It is bordered to the north by the Drau, to the east by the Freibach and to the south and west by the foothills of the Karawanken and the Inzegraben 
and the Inzegraben.
