Liebenfels is a market town in the district of Sankt Veit an der Glan, the historic central region of Carinthia. Liebenfels is located six kilometers west of the district capital Sankt Veit an der Glan and directly north of the provincial capital Klagenfurt.
 
Culture and sights

East of the Liebenfels castle ruins is the Liebenfels climbing garden with 36 routes ranging in difficulty from 3a to 7b. A low ropes course also offers the possibility for goal-oriented team building.
