Litzelsdorf (Middle High German letz, Bavarian lützl 'small') is a market town, with just over 1,150 inhabitants, located in the Burgenland district of Oberwart in Austria.
The Hungarian place name of the village is L?dös, the Croatian Licištrof. In Burgenland Romani the place is called Ledischa. The village is located in the South Burgenland, namely in the southwest of the district Oberwart, on the border with the district Güssing.
Culture and sights
Grenzwächter Rundwanderweg (Border Guard Hiking Trail) as part of the provincial jubilee of 100 years Burgenland, a project of the association Naturfreunde Litzelsdorf. Built under chairman Thomas Hochwarter in cooperation with the municipalities of Kemeten, Wolfau and Litzelsdorf as well as the Federal Monuments Office and the Provincial Museum of Burgenland.
