Anschluss Monument: The monument was erected in 1939 in memory of the annexation of Austria (1938) to the Greater German Reich. It was the largest monument of its kind in the former Ostmark. The temple-like structure is one of the few surviving monuments to the National Socialist era in Austria and still causes discussion and controversy today. In 1997, a commemorative plaque was placed on it.

House of Folk Culture: In 2003, the House of Folk Culture was built, which now houses three associations. The owner of the house is the Burgenland-Hianzische Gesellschaft (Hianzenverein, founded in 1996), and the Burgenland Volksliedwerk and the Museumsverein Oberschützen are also tenants.
