Langenlois is a town in the district of Krems-Land in Lower Austria with 7499 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2022). Langenlois is located in the southeastern Waldviertel at the lower end of the Kamptal valley and at the foot of the Manhartsberg mountain

Catholic parish church of Langenlois St. Laurence: Gothic style, nave Romanesque at its core, wooden flat ceiling, basilica form through two side aisles, raised presbytery with pointed arch vault; Gothic altar shrine with five female figures of saints; wing added by painter Helmut Kies in 1964: scenes from the life of St. Laurence. The tower at the eastern end of the southern aisle, raised in 1754-1756 (56 m) and baroqueized, is owned by the parish. A mobile radio transmitter is housed by the carillon. In 1959/60 there was a comprehensive renovation and return of the church building to its Gothic architectural state. In 1982 a carner vault was discovered under the presbytery.

Staircase Langenlois
Gobelsburg Castle; the estate was expanded into a stately castle in 1725. In 1740 the Zwettl monastery acquired the castle. The castle chapel contains a ceiling painting depicting Mary and a side altarpiece depicting St. Bernard of Krems Schmidt from 1769.[10] Until the 1990s, the castle housed a branch of the Austrian Museum of Folklore. Gobelsburg Castle is the seat of the Schloss Gobelsburg winery.
