Feistritz ob Bleiburg (Slovenian: Bistrica pri Pliberku) is a bilingual market town in the district of Völkermarkt in the Austrian state of Carinthia. 
market town with 2191 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2023), located just under 4 km as the crow flies above Bleiburg, to which the suffix ob Bleiburg 
refers to. The municipality stretches between the Jaunfeld and the Petzen massif of the Karawanken. The eponymous village of Feistritz is about 5 kilometers from the 
kilometers from the Austrian-Slovenian border. The first documented mention of Feistritz dates back to 1261 as Veustricz.
