Tschagguns is a municipality in Austria in Vorarlberg, characterized by tourism. It is located in the Montafon, a valley community in the district of Bludenz. Tschagguns is located in the westernmost province of Austria, Vorarlberg, in the district of Bludenz. The settlement area of the municipality extends over an altitude of 650 to 1,200 meters above sea level.

Culture and sights

The foundation stone for the parish and pilgrimage church of Our Lady of the Nativity of Mary was laid in 1452. It was built in honor of St. Ulrich in late Gothic style. In 1598 and 1751 the church was enlarged and in the years 1812 to 1816 the church was extended and heightened in a further extension, and by adding a new side aisle it was expanded into a symmetrical complex.
