Our community is located in the west of our beautiful province and is considered the gateway to Styria: Both from Salzburg Lungau as well as from Carinthia via the Turracher Höhe or coming via the Flattnitz! The Turracher Höhe invites you with its crystal clear and idyllic mountain lakes, surrounded by the gentle yet imposing Nockberge mountains to linger and offers a unique natural setting in every season!

Stadl-Predlitz has been a municipality in the district of Murau in Styria since 2015. It was created as part of the municipal structural reform in Styria from the municipalities Stadl an der Mur and Predlitz-Turrach, which were dissolved at the end of 2014. Stadl-Predlitz is located in the Upper Mur Valley in the Gurktal Alps, directly on the border with the province of Salzburg. The valley of the Turrach, which flows into the Mur from the right at Predlitz, belongs entirely to the municipality, including the Turracher Höhe on the border with Carinthia.
