Rattenberg (dialect [??ta?dl] 'little town') is a town in the district of Kufstein, Tyrol, Austria. With 0.11 km², it is the smallest municipality in Austria in terms of area, and with 434 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2022), the smallest urban municipality in Austria. Rattenberg is the seat of the district court in the judicial district of Rattenberg. The town of Rattenberg is located between the right bank of the Inn River and a castle in the Tyrolean Lower Inn Valley.
