Culture and sights
Kramsach has two parish churches:
In the west, the basilica and pilgrimage church of Mariathal in the district of Mariatal at the end of the Tiefenbachklamm gorge. The church at Mariathal is considered one of the most cohesive Baroque ensembles and was elevated to basilica status in 2009.[4]
in the east, the parish church of St. Nicholas in Voldöpp at the mouth of the Brandenberger Ache into the Inn.
Furthermore, there is still the monastery "Hilaribergl" and a small church next to the Ache in the district of Weidach, which was converted into the Kramsacher war memorial.
Other places of interest:
The Museum of Tyrolean Farms in the eastern hamlet of Moosen was founded in 1974 by folklorists and, as an open-air museum, shows various types of farms common in Tyrol and old breeds of farm animals as well as traditional food production. The farms are arranged in a way that corresponds to their approximate geographical location in Tyrol.
The museum cemetery in Hagau displays forged grave crosses with whimsical grave inscriptions from various churchyards in the Alpine region.
The Tiefenbachklamm and Kaiserklamm gorges are popular for hiking and are both sights that date back to the Holztrift.
The federal music band Kramsach and the federal music band Mariatal.
